Looking to sell your book collection?

We are always looking to acquire interesting books. No matter how small or large your collection – there may well be something for us! Our wants are not limited to the authors listed below -please offer any scarce 19th or 20th century literature, poetry, novels, children’s books and illustrated books.

Amongst many others, we are always searching for:

PG WODEHOUSE – especially pre-1940 1st editions in dustwrapper, any pre-1920 1st editions without dustwrapper and early reprints with dustwrapper.

CONAN DOYLE – any Sherlock Holmes stories in 1st edition or their magazine publication, plus any scarce Sherlockiana and film/theatre material.

AGATHA CHRISTIE – any pre-1945 books with/without dustwrapper.

IAN FLEMING – any of the Bond titles, especially in Fine condition!

CRIME & DETECTIVE FICTION – early P.D. James, Margery Allingham, John Le Carre, R.D. Wingfield, Georges Simenon, Ellery Queen, Ian Rankin; also, any pre-1950 crime fiction by collectable authors, especially in dustwrapper

MILITARY & NAVAL FICTION – Allan Mallinson, George MacDonald Fraser, Bernard Cornwell, C.S. Forester & Nicholas Monsarrat.

LITERARY FICTION – Charles Dickens, Anthony Trollope, D.H. Lawrence, George Orwell, Virginia Woolf, C.S. Lewis, James Joyce, Anthony Powell, Samuel Beckett, Evelyn Waugh, Graham Greene etc.

CHILDREN’S FICTION – Enid Blyton, W.E. Johns, Frank Richards, Richmal Crompton, A.A. Milne, J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling.
